What is your favorite restaurant & where is it?

Nicholas Restaurant in Portland OR is one of my favorite spots for great Mediterranean cuisine. I recommend any of the Mezza Samplers (because I like a little bit of everything) or the Lamb Kabob’s AND every meal is served with their freshly baked pita bread delivered to you on a pizza stand in the middle of the table. We always order extra pita & hummus to take home! If we attend a concert, Trailblazer game or coming in 2026 a WNBA game at the Moda Center in Portland …. We will go early for dinner at Nicholas!

What does an average day look like for you in your role as a Customer Success Team Lead?

Customers always come first! I start my day by checking emails and messages to prioritize urgent issues or requests, and I end my day preparing for the next. Client connections are crucial, so my calendar is filled with multiple client meetings. Ensuring the Voice of the Customer is heard is a key part of my role, which involves interdepartmental team meetings and discussions. This is one of my favorite aspects of the job because our entire organization is customer-centric and actively seeks customer feedback.

What is the mission that drives the Customer Success team’s work each day?

The CS Team created a Mission Statement several years ago, here are a few KEY phrases: provide an excellent customer experience & cultivate meaningful partnerships. We thrive when customers are thriving. When working with an unhappy client, I take it personally and see it as my responsibility to right the ship, be the Captain, engaging the right teams to address an issue. Similarly, I take pride when we receive positive feedback, knowing that our entire TEAM has done a great job!

PointCentral has a unique culture. Could you share what you find special about it, especially within your team?

Work culture is key. Who wants to spend their days interacting with people who lack energy or motivation? PointCentral has made culture a priority! The CS Team is all about inclusion and peer development. The CS Team has a group chat and weekly stand ups to share highlights or ask for insights. You will often see funny gifs or comments … we like to have fun!

What are some team initiatives you’ve participated in that embody PointCentral’s team culture?

We all know a healthy work culture is one where we feel valued, supported, and motivatedThis has been a priority for me over the last 10 years and I’ve worked on multiple team initiatives toward this.

We have initiatives like book clubs that foster open dialogue on a range of topics, and our Women in Tech (WiT) program shows our commitment to gender diversity in tech. We balance work with fun, organizing regular events and team meals to build camaraderie. We also prioritize growth, pushing for continuous learning and career advancement. Transparency across all levels is important as well with regular Town Halls promoting open communication across the team. All these aspects together make for a truly unique and empowering culture at PointCentral.
